Re: what is the best way the improve myself in a language?
Reading definitely helps alot, but try reading stuff that involves discussion so u can get the feel of it. Than try conversing with others a few sentences at a time ,hence building up ur courage and ur knowledge in the language. Good luck!!!!

I tried doing accordingly to you suggestions, I want to speak Aramaic its a very nice language
I order to know it good, I started to learn gemura again, the only problem is, that in those time the Yiden used to speak Aramaic with a lot of luchen koidesh blended in that language. therefore I'm in a dilemma if what to do next.
I want to speak a pure 100 percent Aramaic, without any yinglish or other weird slang from other places
Re: what is the best way the improve myself in a language?
A great way to improve your accent in any language is whenever you read anything in that language, books, article's, etc. speak out loudly while you are reading, that way you "kill two birds with one stone" you improve both your accent and your general knowledge in that language in the same time
Re: what is the best way the improve myself in a language?
If you say it in your own accent how are you going to improve it?
Re: what is the best way the improve myself in a language?
If you can read you obviously know the basics, so even if you say it now in your own accent, the more you talk the more your accent will improve.
Also try in the same time to have conversation with native speakers of that language, and don't be embarrassed to be corrected or laughed at...
Re: what is the best way the improve myself in a language?
There are people that have been talking English their whole life with strange accents.
That's not the right way to get rid of an accent, it may make you more fluent if that's what you mean.

the best idea would be to go to Syria, Turkey, Iran or Iraq, and mingle with the aramaic speaking population there. good luck
btw, I think memrise offers courses in aramaic. also see
hereMy Son, let not the Aramaic be lightly esteemed by you as the Holy One, blessed be He, has seen fit to give it voice in the Torah and the Prophets and the Writings (Palestinian Talmud, Sotah 7:2) f
